Real-world Challenges in Portfolio Decision Making, 18 June 2014
or – How to Kill your Babies for Growth
On June 18th, 2014, EDPN hosts another event in its series on professional decision making. This time, the focus is on Portfolio Management, and we will explore it from the decision making angle.
As our keynote, we are proud to announce Michael Menke, flying in from the US for us, to share results from his global Portfolio Management benchmarking work. Michael is also a veteran in the Strategic Decision Making community, a co-founder of Strategic Decisions Group (1981), co-leader of SDG’s R&D management/portfolio management practice, Manager of DA SRI Europe in the 1970s and Chief Portfolio Advocate of Hewlett-Packard (2000-2007). He is also the co-author of Project Portfolio Management: A View from the Management Trenches (2009).
To inspire and translate into practice we have two companies presenting their challenges in product and project portfolio management: NXP Semiconductors and Philips Healthcare. Join us for this exciting session and register at: www.regonline.com/EDPN-June2014. Mail to the organizers for more information (Bart Zeeman and Jac Goorden).
